An end to toothache - thanks to you
Thanks to donations from SPCA supporters, our vets now have the necessary equipment to treat pets suffering from toothache, abscesses and gum disease, freeing them from a life of pain.
Happy endings
A huge thank you to all who made donations recently to support the work of our Inspectors. You help give sad cases – like that of Ava the cat and her kitten Basil – happy endings.
No hot dogs, please
Heat stroke is a very real danger during Durban's hot and humid summer months, so follow these tips to keep your pets cool and comfortable during the hot weather.
What are Oscar and Joanne 'up' to?
Be on the lookout for a giant dog-shaped hot air balloon flying over Durban in May, when the best travelled dog on the planet, Oscar, and his owner Joanne Lefson visit our city at the start of their World Woof Tour to raise dog adoption awareness.
25 years of caring
Loyal volunteers, Lynn Kirby-Hirst, Wally Townsend and Lucy Farrell have raised R820 000 for the SPCA over the past 25 years through their monthly Bluff Book Sale. We salute you!
