From The Inspectorate

Inspectorate :
The SPCA receives hundreds of reports of cruelty and neglect monthly. Inspectorate's duties include animal rescues, checks on pet shops, circuses, security firms, livestock transportation, abattoirs, hatcheries and private homes. Not only dogs and cats are dealt with; any case is investigated – be it domestic, farm or wild, used for security, research and/or financial gain. Our inspectors are on call 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, confronting the horrors of animal cruelty. All reports are investigated thoroughly.

Trapped cat
A cat that had fallen between garden walls in its own garden remained trapped for two days while mewing pitifully. Roshen went to rescue it and found that its paw had become stuck. The poor little creature had been trying to chew its own paw off to release itself. Roshen tried to smash down the wall with a crowbar. It was clear that the wound had already become septic. Unable to free the suffering little animal, Roshen had to enthanase it on the spot.

This time the mouse wins!
We all know that the feeding of live prey to reptiles is a cruel habit, and against the law, even though these animals feed on live prey in the wild. The difference is that the prey is pounced on and killed, whereas live prey in a reptile cage might suffer days of quivering fear before being attacked. There is a huge difference between these two situations. However, a plucky mouse in Nantoun, Taiwan, turned the tables on a deadly viper after being served up as a meal and bit the snake to death.
