Nineteen dogs were found in a single household in La Lucia. The mess in the house defied description. Some of the females had puppies. The owner had simply left and had given someone R100 for food for the big dogs! A concerned friend found that phone calls were unanswered, and the SPCA’s warnings that the dogs would be seized were ignored.
