Report : Dog in river

It was pouring with rain, and a message was received that a dog was in the river near the Coedmore bridge near the entrance to Yellowwood Park. The dog was actually perched in a cascade of water like a waterfall but was not actually in the river. It was a dangerous position, and then the flow of water was so strong that he fell into the river.

Already muddy up to her knees, Jacqui went in. The dog had disappeared under the water, but then came up several times. Roshen shouted; “No!” to Jacqui when he saw what she was trying to do. Someone at the SPCA had also rung to say “Tell Jacqui to stay out of the river!” The rain was still pouring down, and the river was increasingly dangerous.
