A member of the public phoned the SPCA to say that a man living in the vicinity had drowned ten puppies in a bucket and had buried them. Jacqui went out to the Woodlands property. She was met by a young person and asked about the puppies, but he was obviously scared and said they had been given away. Jacqui told him she knew this was not true.

She walked round the swimming pool and inspected the garden. She found a mound of earth and took a spade and began digging. (Yes, Jacqui does things like this. She is a determined woman.) She came across some plastic bags, ripped them open and found the puppies. She felt ill at the sight of these innocent little creatures so brutally murdered.

Their carcases were swollen and beginning to smell. She took photographs which will be used in the court case. The perpetrator has been charged, but has not even bothered to contact the SPCA. The complainant phoned and said the same fate had been meted out to other puppies in the past and that this man had also cut off puppies’ tails “as punishment”.

So here we have another sadist. This man allows his dog to produce litter after litter (at a home with a swimming pool!) and allows them to grow to three to four months old before cruelly killing them.
