In this case, a ginger and white semi-feral cat was caught up in razor wire. Her head was thoroughly entwined, and her intestines were hanging out. Barbs were sticking into her flesh. A tranquilliser was given so that she could be cut out, but the barbs were so deep and so much internal damage had been done that she had to be put to sleep, and Jacqui mercifully euthanased her on the spot.
