Volunteers are the life-blood of our Society; we have a very strong base of loyal volunteers who assist us on a daily basis. Many of these generous people have been giving their free time to this organisation for as many as 20 years! These are selfless, dedicated people who work tirelessly behind the scenes while shunning praise. Without these people the Durban & Coast SPCA would cease to exist.
We are heavily reliant upon volunteers: from walking dogs and collecting pet food to assisting in our bookshop and sorting jumble, our organisation would be much the poorer without their loyal support. By the same token, our volunteers tell us that the feeling of personal fulfillment makes it all worthwhile!
Volunteering is an enriching experience and you will be making a valuable contribution to a very worthy cause. All that you need is a lot of enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference!
