Faith, hope, love

Never have we been happier to hear the Adoption Bell peal out than when sweet little Faith went home with her new owners, the Prinsloo family of Glenhills.

Faith spent two months at our SPCA recovering from the horror of being secured inside a plastic bag and thrown out of a car, which stopped briefly at the side of the road before speeding off. Fortunately two nearby workers who witnessed the incident noticed the bag moving and reported it.

Inspector Fermin responded to the call, opened up the bag and freed the frightened dog. Despite her ordeal, she was a happy and playful pup who quickly stole our hearts. We hoped she would find a special home … one with a large garden and a family who would take her on walks and play with her and show her that humans can be trusted – and eventually the perfect people came along. Faith ‘met’ the Prinsloo’s other dog and the pair got along well. And on 6 October, Faith started her new life as a beloved member of the family.
