Here's the lineup of events we have planned for you so far. Please join us and support our efforts to raise funds for the furry orphans in our care.

Every Saturday: Book sale at our Sunningdale charity shop – upper level at the Sunningdale Centre (Corner Village Way and Umhlanga Rocks Drive).

Saturday 20 August: Homeless Animals Day

Spend the night in one of our kennels to help raise awareness (and funds) for homeless animals.

Every year, more than 13 000 homeless animals find sanctuary at our SPCA. Some are strays living on the streets. Some have been abandoned. Others are unwanted. Many are abused, neglected, hungry, cold and frightened. By participating on our Homeless Sleepout challenge, you’ll help raise funds to cover the cost of providing a safe and loving shelter while they wait for their second chance at a happy life.

If you’re up for the challenge of leaving your nice comfy bed and roughing it for the sake of homeless animals, book your spot in our kennels for the night of 20 August 2022 now.

Tickets are R125 per human, plus R25 if you want to bring your dog along as well! Get your friends and family to ‘sponsor’ your adoption out of the kennels for R800. Take videos/photos and post them on social media with the hashtag #helpinghomelessanimals. Please tag us @spcadbn and make sure your posts are set to ‘public' so we can see them.

Space is limited - so act now if you want to be part of this fun event.

All you have to do:

Step 1: Sign up now at Quicket
Step 2: Bring your sleeping bag/mattress and anything else you need to our SPCA between 4-5pm on 20 August. You'll receive a goodie bag which includes a blanket, dinner, hot drinks ...
Step 3: Ask friends/family to visit you from 4-6 pm and contribute towards your 'adoption fee' of R800, either personally or by making a donation online or via EFT. Remind them to put your name + homeless as a beneficiary reference.
Step 4: Once your adoption fee has been paid, you're free to leave our kennels – or stay longer if you wish!
